To promote public safety and strengthen domestic security by providing services in partnership with local, state, and federal criminal justice agencies to prevent, investigate, and solve crimes while protecting Florida’s citizens and visitors.
Basic Abilities Test (BAT)
This test must be passed in order to attend basic-recruit training. Take this test if you have not attended training.
Statewide Officer Certification Exam (SOCE)
This test must be passed in order to be eligible for certification. Take this test if you have successfully completed basic-recruit training or an Equivalency of Training (EOT).
